Learn basics of each stroke in a clinic format. Getting ready to join team. |
| Black Group |
Ages 10 & under. A swimmer that is able to swim a lap of the pool unassisted. There is a strong emphasis on stroke technique and some endurance training. Competitive turns are taught and emphasized. Practice (45 minutes) offered 3 days per week and athletes expected to attend a minimum of 2 days per week. Compete in Suburban Aquatic League Meets and Invitationals. |
| Red Group |
Ages 8 – 12. A swimmer that is able to swim all four strokes legally and ready for more advanced endurance training. Practice (1 hour) is offered 3 days per week and athlete is asked to attend a minimum of 2 nights per week. Compete in Suburban Aquatic League Meets and Invitationals. |
| White Group |
Ages 10 - 18. Swimmers in this group are able to handle intense training and be able to maintain their stroke technique. Practice (1 ½ hours) is offered 4 days per week and athletes are expected to attend at least 3 nights per week. Compete in Suburban Aquatic League Meets as well as Invitationals. |
| US Swimming |
Ages 6-18. Swimmers in this group must be willing to make a commitment to attend practice. 10 & under are offered practice (1 ¼ hours) 5 times per week and must attend at least 3 times and 11 & over are offered practice (2 hours) 6 times per week and must attend at least 4 times. In addition, dryland (1 hour) is offered. Athletes in this group will be able to handle training with concentration, stroke technique, and meet practice standards for work ethic. Compete in Suburban Aquatic League Meets as well as selected United States Swimming Meets. |
| US Diving |
This program is geared toward those athletes that desire to compete on the US Diving circuit. Divers are expected to participate in all assigned practices, develop a three meter list of dives, and travel to competitions including: AAU invitationals, US Diving regionals, zones, and nationals. Due to limited space, a waiting list may need to be put in place in order to facilitate effective practices. |
