SAL Invitational
CR Hawaiian Invitational -
Saturday, December 30, 2017 - entries for this optional meet are due Tuesday, Dec. 19.  It is a nice optional invitational meet to attend during the holidays.

CAC vs DCAA Results:
Girls - DCAA 457, CAC 164; 60 personal bests!
Boys - DCAA 369, CAC 200; 54 personal bests!
Diver of the Meet - Anna Leonard - Anna had a tough warm up with some cuts and bruises, but she came back to perform very well in her event in the meet!  Way to hang in there, Anna!
Girls Swimmers of the Meet-

Lindsey Catoni- She was very anxious about the meet today, but every event she swam she had a great race! Her IM was most impressive! She never stopped kicking, had great turns, and finished with a time of 1:54:61!

Juliet Yavas- She was concerned about her turns for the IM because she hasn’t swam the event in a long time...not only did she finish strong and have a great race, but her turns looked amazing!

Boys Swimmers of the Meet-

Jonah Wert- Jonah had a great quote to start out the meet, he mentioned how he did not want to lose anymore, so he was going to take out his frustration in the water and swim fast! Well, Jonah did just that. He was able to drop time in all three of his individual events! He dropped over 2 seconds in his 50 free, close to 4 in his 100 free, and almost a second in his 50 breast.

Will McCloskey- Will had some great races against a fast team. He was able to drop A LOT of time in his two individual events. He dropped 8 seconds in his 100 fly and 14 seconds in his 200 IM. Way to make HUGE improvements Will!

Charlie Green- Even though Charlie has started his HS season and is now practicing 6 days a week along with morning practices, he used the CAC meet to practice some fast racing! Charlie was a great leader throughout the meet, cheering the kids on. He was able to swim fast in both of his individual events as well- he is ready to take their HS boys on at the Abington meet!

4th & final payment
Please remember it is due by the end of the month! You may pay your 4th and final payment at any point.

Odd Age
Attached is the information for our major fundraiser, the 24th Annual Lisa Forlini Memorial Odd Age Meet.  It is required for all athletes 13 & under participating in the swimming portion and all families contributing in the form of business ads or personal ads.  Moreover, all families will be asked to contribute with working session(s) for the meet.  If your athlete is not able to attend the meet, each family will be charged the entries fees that all athletes 13 & Under, would be paying. We look forward to a great meet of fun and festivities for the athletes and we can not think of a better way to spend your January 7 but at the meet!  Entries and monies for this event are due no later than Tuesday, December 19.

Have a great week,
