CAC Weekly 11/13
Hi CAC families!
Way to go CAC! We saw great sportsmanship and spirit this weekend. Everyone swam their hearts out and it showed with a number of swimmers dropping time. Results have been posted to the website here. Our divers were exceptional at their first dive meet! As always, thank you to all the volunteers for your flexibility and dedication.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Clothing orders will be ready for pickup in the office during practice on Monday. They will not be handed to your swimmer unless you email Laura.
2. Odd Age Invitational is on December 10th - this is our biggest fundraising event of the year. We ask that every swimmer participate and that every parent volunteers. The cost for CAC families is $20 per swimmer, for up to four individual events. Swimmers can decide which events they want to participate in, but the charge will be the same regardless of if they swim in one event, or four. This is a WONDERFUL opportunity for newer swimmers to get a feel for what a meet is like, and for the more experienced swimmers to challenge themselves by going against swimmers from across Bucks County. 3. Wood will be utilizing the pool this year. Starting the week of 11/20, the swim schedule will to the following:
Blue: 5:45 to 6:45
Orange: 6:30 to 8:00
4. We have a volunteer to shadow for the girls' rep for next year. However, we are still looking for a volunteer to be the boys' rep. You can shadow Laura this year, so you know what to do.
5. Invitationals - There is only 1 other invitational left for this year, other than our Odd Age Invitational. CBST Holiday Classic is on December 3rd, and we're hoping to have a huge CAC turnout. We have 10 swimmers signed up - how many more can we get?! Sign-ups have to be submitted by 11/17, so there is enough time to get everything turned in. Sign up here! Remember the more CAC participates in invitationals at other clubs, the more people will sign up for our Odd Age Invitational.
6. Last but certainly not least... CAC needs volunteers to shadow for starter ref and stroke and turn, for both boys and girls. The positions are essential for meets and we do not have enough qualified volunteers. Please reach out to Jaime ASAP if you are willing to learn.

SHOUT OUTS:
Boys (swimming): We have two boys this week!
Dennis Paniv: for being an absolute monster in the pool! He swam every single race all out and showed that hard work pays off!
Gavin Morasco: For dropping a crazy amount of time in all of his races. He has also shown that you can have fun and drop lots of time!
Girls (swimming): We have two girls this week!
Emily and Colleen Halpin: The girls woke up early and came to celebrate their birthday at the swim meet. Both girls had awesome swims and cheered on their teammates enthusiastically. Good job girls!
Boys (diving):
EJ: EJ has shown consistent effort and commitment to the sport, himself, and the team.
Girls (diving):
Ariella: Ariella dove with confidence and grace. She dove up an age group and placed 1st. Her performance was solid and her attitude was positive. She showed leadership and teamwork.
