ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Team Swim Suits – On Tuesday October 15th. Company is coming out with the suits. Swimmers divers will be able to try them on and purchase them that day.

Children cannot try on a suit wet!

• Suits are not required but highly recommended; we are using the Nike Vex in blue and orange.

Try On Times:

• Dive team starts at 5:15 PM

• Blue Group will start at 5:30

• Orange Group can come anytime before their practice.

Prices

• Female Suit: $58

• Male Jammer: $42

• Male Racer: $36

• Personalized caps will also be up for purchase. 2 for $24

• Note non-personalized team caps are also available for purchase at anytime for $10 – please ask a board member.

• Cash/Check/CC accepted

Time Trials - Swimmers and Parents please attend

Time trials allow the coaches to start to organize what heat each swimmer will be in at our meets. Parents need to help. We use stop watches. If you are going to the stroke and turn training you do not need to help with the time trials. 

• October 21 Blue team
• October 22 Orange team
• Start 6:30  and ends once we get everyone’s swims

Stroke and Turn Training: Please contact Renee (girls rep) or Liz (secretary)  if you are interested in becoming a stroke and turn judge or would like to go to the training to understand how stroke and turn works. We need to notify them with a number prior to the training!

• Where- CBSouth Room D205 (near the pool)
• When- Monday, October 21st at 6pm

SWIM PARENT AVAILABILITY FORM: 

Swim Parents: Please fill out the Availability Parent and Swimmer/s Form ASAP. At this point you should have received the email. 

PVAC Fall Fest Invitational – Sunday October 27th, 2024.If you are interested or did reach out already please contact or reach out again to Coach Mark or Liz (CACsecretary) by Monday 10/14 this is an extension and a way to double check.  Link to flyer

UPDATED MEET SCHEDULES:

Below are the dates for swim and dive meets – Most dates and times are confirmed. We will keep you posted if things change.

BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED

• Boys Rep.: We are still in need of a boys rep. for next year. (25/26 season) Please contact any board

member if you are interested. 

• President: Mike has graciously agreed to stay on for 1 more year but will need someone who is interested to train with him. They would officially take over (26/27 season) 

* Please remember that this team does not run without parent involvement and we look forward to everyone stepping up to make this season successful!
